Group Therapy
I have led hundreds of group therapy sessions on topics ranging from mindfulness, mind-body skills, and treatment for mental health diagnoses, to interpersonal process groups that cultivate a lasting connection. In my experience, group therapy has proven to be a highly effective and nurturing environment where individuals can feel secure enough to express themselves, exchange personal stories, offer and receive encouragement, establish meaningful connections with fellow participants, and collaboratively address obstacles, instead of facing them in solitude. I look forward to being with you during the group sessions. I am currently running two groups:
Mind-Body skills weekly group for individuals with cancer. Group for individuals with a cancer diagnosis and those who could benefit from mind-body skills to cope with stress, depression, anxiety related to cancer experience. Group is weekly for 8 weeks.
Parent Wellness and Skills Group. Group for parents - with kids of all ages - who are looking to learn skills that will benefit their role as a parent. Skills will be from Good Inside parenting method and Mind Body Medicine wellness interventions. Group meets virtually on Tuesdays for 6 weeks; next group beginning Tuesday November 5th (CST) virtually, from 12pm-1:30pm.
